College Soccer (New Member)

Hello to everybody.

My name is Brace and I am a 19-year old college sophomore at St. John's University in Central Minnesota. I have been following this site for a while through the help of DaveL and Mike Janes. I began taking photos last year for St. Cloud State University Men's Hockey in the WCHA. I also shot some Minor League Baseball this summer. For this year I am shooting for my school (SJU), SCSU Men's Hockey and just need to finalize an internship with the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team.

I own a Canon 1D Mark II with a 70-200 f/2.8 lens. I am about to add a 300 f/4.

Well captured, but I would watch your horizons in the background, i would straighten in photoshop.

exposure looks alittle over exposed..but not too bad.. just look out for clipping in your highlights. Some of the faces are underexposed...

Also watch your horizons! You dont want the tilts.

One more thing are backgrounds... make sure you have clean backgrounds!

Keep those things in mind and you will go far in this field.

I used to shoot for my college and it was fun. Enjoy it while you can.
