I am new to photography, but I need to take product shots for my e-commerce site.

Backgrounds of products will be removed once I learn how.

Can anyone point me to a good tutorial on this?

Critique away!

I think it looks pretty good. Obviously no blur, you went to many measures to make sure of this. I don't know anything about what a good or bad product shot would be but I personally think that the bottle color and the background color are too similar. I like to get a view of the size of a product and the left side of the bottle seems to blend a little too much with the backgound.
You can take that for what it's worth though. As I said I know nothing about this type of picture. I'm just giving you a consumer's point of view.

Hi Joe. Thanks for your thoughts. The background will be photoshopped out of the picture and placed against the white background of the webpage.

Looks good to me!

What set-up are you using, apart from the camera?
