Hey all.

I have been busy the past couple of days learning several new things and wanted to share my results.

In addition to the normal still image coverage of Friday night football, I took my 5D Mark II with me as well and shot some video. I then figured out how to embed a flash video of stills and video to my website. Yes, that is me serving as narrator.

While I have a lot to learn about multimedia editing, Final Cut Pro and optimizing flash files for web display, I was pretty happy with the results for my first attempt at something like this.

Check it out if you will and let me know what you think.

I would also like to hear from anyone if you experience the video stopping while trying to to load. I need some feedback from others on if it works OK or if the flash file is too big to download quickly enough for various internet connections.

I still need to add my normal still image slideshow but am so tired of sitting in front of this computer I am calling it a night.

Thanks for looking.

Kevin,
I dont have alot of advice to help you with but I think you did a great job here with the video and the narration. Look forward to seeing more and thanks for sharing this.

Very nice - I really liked the narration and the video combined with the stills. It didn't take long to load on my computer, but the video was kind of jerky all the way through and I've got a fast internet connection. Well done!

Thanks Debbie for the feedback. If you have the time would you mind trying something for me. Start the video, then pause it to let it fully load then play it and let me know if you still get a jerky play. There seem to be about 8 million settings you can use when creating the flash files and trying to get a better understanding of what causes what.

Thanks again for your feedback.

I tried it and it doesn't continue to load if I pause it. Maybe it's because I've watched the whole thing before. I did watch some of it again and it was still jerky.

Thanks Debbie. I think it is related to the frame rate I output the flash file. I tried it on my MAC and also on PC on the same internet connection and the PC version behaved as you described and the MAC display was very smooth.

Thanks again for your time and feedback. I really appreciate it.

I also added my first large panoramic image that you can zoom in and scroll around to the same link as in the original post. It is of the home stands from the same game as the video. Let me know what you think.
