I use one. It works great for my needs and makes a handy lens cap when out in the field. The only problem is that it is a very tight fit for 77mm lenses. It will work with them, but it takes some tinkering which can be a bit annoying. Anything under that and it works great.

I wear sunblock, so I don't need a cap.

Any new for us Mrsjperry? I'm torn between getting the Lally cap or this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=WishList.jsp&A=details&Q=&sku=429982&is=REG
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I tried it for a wedding for the first time and I loved it. Post editing went a little quicker.
Only drag is changing the Custom WB setting once you go to a different location. But it is fairly easy.
Set camera to Custom WB Setting, put on the cap, take a picture, and hit set.
Not too bad. Oh and of course you only get one that's so easy to lose. lol
But now you got me curious about this new gadget.

Excellent. I'm going to give it a try. As for the Photovision target, I can't answer. looks interesting enough. They've got a short video tutorial on their website as well. More complicated than the Lally for sure...
Thanks so much & Happy new year!

The photovision target is an excellent product. Properly utilized, you will be able to set a perfect exposure along with a custom white balance.

I researched this a few months ago. Some people are just using coffee filters instead. I haven't tried this... maybe I'll do it today just for grins.
Generally, the in-camera WB presets work for me (all except tungsten with weird painted walls).
In my video days I would just WB off the bride's dress.
