I am considering picking these triggers up off of Ebay but am not sure if they will allow the Sigma EF530 Super to function with Ettl. Basically I want the flash to work the same way it does on the camera, just as an off camera light. Anyone know if this works???

When you same "the same as it does on camera" do you mean with ETTL? If so NO.
But if you want to use the flash in manual mode then YES, that means without ETTL functions.

I have SIGMA EF-500 DG SUPER and I use it manually with CTR-301P, I don't have the EF-530 DG SUPER but I don't see anything different with the 500DG SUPER.

Hey thanks for the answer! I was really hoping to be able to use Ettl off camera. I guess that is only reserved to first party flashes, huh...Basically this means I would have to figure out what level to set the flash at for each shot and then take the shot correct?

Correct. You will need to determine what level of light you need from the flash.

Your only other alternative to retain ETTL is to get a long ETTL cord which longest cable is 24 feet and about $54.
