Just a noob but I am practicing some settings and angles, forgive the background in some of the pics, but other than that give me some c&c

Hey Ashton, you got some good centered shots there. I am a noob to motorsports shooting also, so take my CC with a grain of salt. I would open up the aperture and not use flash. If you must use flash, use a speedlite so you can use it as fill flash, which will reduce or eliminate the shadows you see in your shots. But first, try shooting at wide open apertures. You should not need f/9 on a wide angle, even failrly close. You can also bump up the ISO to get a higher shutter speed if that's what you want, although slower speeds will work if your panning smooth and will give some wheel blur. I like higher shutter speeds though, to stop the action on the flying dirt balls. ;)
