This will only apply to people who do a similar type of thing.
I do a bit of fell walking in the Lake District of England and take the camera along for Landscapes, in this instance it is the walk first, and I stick to the paths. With the amount of rain we get everything is so green and I aways find the views look great but uninteresting as a shot. I try to get out early for the light and less people.
Would be interested to find out what other people look for do in theses sort of conditions, as sometimes there is nothing to add to the picture ie a building, river etc.
Autum is a different picture, as everything looks fantastic, but with bad winds, sometimes the leaves are gone before you get chance.
If I want a particular shot, rather than just a walk, I will go to that place just for photography reasons. eg Blea Tarn in the Langdales.
Its another Sunday again and its raining again.
