damaged sd770 is

this weekend, before i even started drinking, i set my camera on a shelf with the 10 second timer to take a picture of a friend and myself mixing a large drink together. i bumped it as i pushed the button, and it fell 5 feet onto the floor, and hit lens first. one side of the lens is pushed in while the other is not, and i cant push or pull either side to make it sit even.

is this fixable without having to buy replacement parts or without sending it off to canon to be repaired? even if i had replacement parts, i dont think i'd want to try and attempt to fix it myself.

any help is much appreciated.

I'm afraid it'll be either an expensive repair or at least a lot of fiddly poking around inside a partially-disassembled camera. You might not have broken any parts (but that's a faint hope), but the lens is probably the most sensitive and critical part of your camera, so you really want to be sure that's done correctly.
