I'm sure most of us have heard the sale's pitch and the interesting 'facts' Best Buy (or any) sales people deliver. I always wondered who was giving them this information. For people preparing to buy new computers from Best Buy just be wary of the sales pitch. Remember, most of these things they are trying to push can be found for free, are easy to do yourself if you do a Google search or are just not necessary.

Best Buy is best buy, don't expect much from them, they are just trying to sell stuff with the highest possible margins. Do your research before the store, not at the store. But same goes with every store, including the Apple store (and soon at Microsoft store as well)

But AppleInsider is apple insider, don't expect an unbiased article either.

I find a lot of things in that article are misrepresentations of the given screenshots, with sometimes random comments that don't really add anything.

I was at the U computer shop today and the manager said that for the first time they're selling Macs at the same pace as Dells. It will be interesting to see how things are 5 years from now.

Got my Snow Leopard 5 pack today. I'll get the computers updated once I'm back from DC, but my MBP has had no problems with the dev install and it sure is snappy.
