Ok...I saw a thread about this a while back, but it was more of people posting what they had.
If (even hypothetically) you were going to get a tattoo relating to photography what would you get?
I am thinking about getting one of aperture blades (of course not plain...gotta craft something up) with "Stay Focused" underneath it. To me it's a good message that goes beyond the camera, but it would also relate to my love of photography. I want to make the aperture blades where basically I know what they are, and other photographers will, but otherwise it just looks cool...not sure how I'm gonna do that yet...
And if you think its crazy, I wanna hear that too....:)

Interesting idea for a thread. I had never even considered a photography related tattoo. But now that you mention it...

It's bad enough how much I think about photography, the last think I need is a tattooo to complete my obsession.

I think its an interesting idea, and Ive definately seen worse tattoos out there. Its not completely photography related but I do have what I hope to be my future logo on my right wrist, it does double duty as not only is it my future logo but its also in memory of my little brother.

I feel ya. Nothing wrong with nerdom. I think that's a cool idea, although I would imagine that the location of that tattoo was painful....

Well, I retract the 1200L name.
It's more like the 100-400L...with the push/pull zoom.
Oh yeeeeeeeeah....

I've been thinking of getting a tattoo of the aurora ..guess why.
(hint: check out my weblink)
But my issue is not being able to find someone who could do something as unique as that, properly. If it was done wrong it'd just look like a big band of green or something, I want to find a tattoo artist who would be able to do it correctly to look like an aurora.
:/

Yeah, that would be tough Karl. Auroras are hard to correctly get pictures of, let alone draw one.
I like the concept, but I think you'd definitely want to do an extensive search to find an artist that not only is capable of doing it, but wanting to do it... big difference. You want an artist that gets excited about it.
