Here are a couple of pics I took at the beach of kids eating oranges.:)
No post processing is done on these images at all other than resizing of the pics.

Question for the photography gurus::: I took all my pics at ISO 200 (First time) and most of the pics show color grain even though there was plenty of bright sun light. there was more grain on the pics that were taken in the shade with plenty of sun light and fill built-in flash. Any suggestions as to how do I avoid grain? You might be able to see some of this on my son's ear in the attached pic. I might have lost the grain as I resized them. All shots were taken at full resolution (8MP) and I am using Canon Powershot Pro1.

Thank you all.

Great photos. I love the drooly smile in the first one.

As for the ISO200 thing. Most P&S cameras have small sensors which mean they are sensitive to increases in ISO. I'm suprise its that bad at 200 with a Pro 1 but if it is bugging you there are two options.

Don't use ISO 200, or get some software (http://www.imagenomic.com/download.asp) that will help you reduce noise problems. There is a free community edition available on the link, although you'll probably find its well worth the small fee for the full version.

Thanks guys.
Yesterday I tried some more pics with ISO 100 and they came out superb, even in much lower light than the ones I took at ISO 200. I have heard of this camera and others having some noise at ISO800 but I wonder why I am getting it at only 200.
Here is why I was trying out at ISO200. I am sure like most kids, mine are hyper, moving constantly. :-) I was trying to shoot at around 1/200-1/400 shutter speed and around F5.6-F8. This is when I moved my camera to ISO-200 because images were a bit too bright in the bright sun light. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Thank you.
