Can Canon S50 be used as a WEBCAM?

I am trying to find out if my Canon S50 Powershot Camera can be used as a Webcam to stream live pictures over the internet. If it is possible please let me know how to accomplish this. Any help is appreciated.

yeah, i've got a IXUS 30 and i'd like to know if it can be used as a webcam, or live recording to the HD, the software has the button, but it's greyed out.

Buy a cheapo £10 webcam instead...the camera will heat up over periods of time if used, and the only surefire way to get it to work is to plug the video out on your camera to a video input device. Its much, MUCH cheaper to buy a cheap webcam
