I don't usually use them, the most I usually do is a black and white conversion but they seemed to work for these pics evn though a few are a bit blown this is my own battle with the summer sunshine.

Some nice work there. For my personal taste they are a little bright, particularly the first and last, but still well crafted images.

those are really nice, I like them all. I like her stance you captured of her walking on the train track, the 2nd has a bit of serenity to it (almost wish you had as much space below the shadow as you do above their heads, but that's being overly and unnecessarily nitpicky. The 3rd looks like a glamour shot you'd see in a magazine or something.
very nice work :)

May be obvious to others, but what filters did you use for the three pictures?

Very cool... I'll go against the grain here and vote on the 1st one. It has an ethereal, dreamy quality to it. You can almost hear her whistling a little tune as she balances on the rail.

Awe, thank you so much for the wonderful comments and feedback. I used some of the Virtual Photography filters for photshop. I have to admitt I used them to compensate for the blown out pieces in some of the pic. A demon (the light) I have yet to conquer with this bright sun here. Like I mentioned b4 the last pic is not blown in the original but the 11 year old girl (who is my daughter) wanted to look like a rock star.Thank you again for the feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I just keep practicing manual with a P&S til I get a new baby!
