Hi
had a very pleasant trip to a wakeboarding center at Sheffield in the UK... having never even seen a wakeboard before, I assumed photographing these guys was a doddle 'Wrong'
to get decent shots at this game is rather harder than I imagined with rain showers and variable skies, it was tough going with a lot of out of focus and out of frame shots - these guys come at you pretty damned fast... so will be going back for some more of this action again in due course
here's a couple of the ones that I really like

also must thank the Owners of the club for basically letting me shoot from where-ever I wanted
Cheers Chris

Hi Chris, Nice shots . The lighting looks good to me . I am booked to shoot wake boarders later in the season but on my visit to book the venue these guys (http://www.eventsphotographer.com/jetski) were playing sorry they may take a whiie to load as these were sent to owners.

Have Fun

The Lighting was very good at the time of the 2 shots I posted... but for the bulk of the shots it was raining persistantly, and my gear was getting wet.. Grrr but must say I really enjoyed the water spray and all the nice colours etc - nice shots of the jet Skiers

I have never shot at this type of event before so I used 2 Lenses on my 20D
lenses used
135mm f2
200 F1.8

the 2 pictures posted here were both shot wide open (F2)with the 135mm I have some others with a variation of settings

but yeah, the angle IMO isn't too flattering and seem a bit oversharpened IMO.. but great shutter speed, and super good contrast
