Liz and Mike's Rustic August Wedding

I had the pleasure of covering one of my local mountain residents' wedding. Weather was perfect, food was great, and despite the couple HATING to take pictures (this is what they told me before the wedding) I think I managed a few good ones from them, lol. This was the first wedding where the bride and the groom did NOT want any shots of them getting ready. At first I was bummed, but then there were a lot less photos that I had to edit, so it worked out nicely.... for me

Looks like a familiar location ;)

I do like this ring shot better than the upside-down engagement ring. Just curious why there are two wedding bands with diamonds? Looks like the bride is wearing one in back of her engagement ring while the groom is sliding on the other one in #4.

Yea, it does look familiar, doesn't it? lol. We get hired to shoot that location a lot :)
As for the rings, this particular bride had 2 bands AND her engagement ring for her set (honestly, the first time I had seen that) ... So wedding band, engagement ring, then wedding band. They were pretty, but a little harder to pose the rings.
I tried this position, as well, but I like the first one better.

Hi Julie, I love the ring shots! (both of them!)...The venue is fantastic and though the couple wasn't into pics you can't really tell that. They look happy! :) I'm simply amazed how much progress you've maid in the past few months that I've been following you! You rock! :)

Hey Julie, nice working with the situation at hand... it can be tough when the bride and groom aren't comfortable in front of the camera. You took some really nice photos that I'm sure the couple will love.

Best investment I've ever made... I even bought 2, in case my 1st malfunctions...
