View Full Version : Equipment list in your tag line getting too long?

I found that a public wish list at B&H is a great way to add my equipment list. It's short and accessible to anyone who wants to see what I'm using, plus it has pictures and descriptions. :)
What do you think?

Haha, thats a good idea.
I just revert to writing the bodies I use, too many lenses and accessories.

I may have to drop the body I use to make room for all my lenses.

I have no list. I guess I have nothing. ;)

I'll just stick to random quotes in my tag line. Anyway, the B&H thing wouldn't work for me, they don't sell those 640x480 resolution Hotwheels digital cameras.

I've chopped my list down a bit, it was getting too big.
What really annoys me is people who have a sig made up of rows of smileys and lots of space. One guy has one saying "proud to say I have a 20D" etc and two lines of animated smileys. Annoying.
In the user control panel, under edit options, you can turn sigs off so you don't see them. I find them useful to know what equipment someone has if they give advice.

There was a thread about this very subject on Fred Miranda's site recently. A few people were so upset that others listed their equipment that I was inspired to list mine. I don't really do that here though. Can't keep up anyways - the list is constantly changing.

There we go, I added the most significant bits of my equipment into my tag line.

Oh yeah, and I encrypted them. Really basic encryption. Been around a long time.

Clearsight for $19.95! Yeah, that's the ticket! ;-)That was only 0.3 percent of the purchase. Are you saying I got ripped? :)
