I don't know what sort of plant it is, but would it lend itself to being photographed in portrait?

I like the original post. I like having my eye drawn to the middle focus area.

They are both nice shots but I prefer the second one. It seems to have several gateways to let my eye in and out of the picture comfortably.

Whoa! I think you have an excellent capture of pod people either coming or going....

They look so soft and not at all like real plants. Really beautiful captures.
