Cool lens. I liked it when I had one. It is so easy to be creative with.

In the first photo the rocks in the front being out of focus is s little distracting. I would also crop out the flag and the building on the left side. It makes a very scenic setting look populated.
The exposure is good and the colors are very nice. The composition is a little snapshot style though. Your horizon is almost in the center of the frame and there is no line for my eye to follow. Cool location If you have access to it I would definitely suggest a sunrise or sunset shoot there.

My first thought when I saw the second photo was of a NASA launching. Cool perspective.
The exposure may be just a tad bright though.

The sun is at a very low angle in the second shot which gave you extreme harsh light and high contrast.

The sun appears to be high (noon?) in the first shot and the circ. pol. did not do much for you on that shot.

crop out more of the sky in #1. it seems your intent for us was the rocks and water....emphasize it.

i dont like the perspective in #2. it doesnt do much for me. creative, but it just didnt do anything for me. i have hundreds of these in my own collection so dont think this is a slam.

I agree with midnight. If you can, go back and just get that flag and building right out of frame and sharpen up those close rocks. Raise the horizon while you're at it just slightly and I'd be an even bigger fan of this.

Good shot how it is but with a few minor adjustments I think it could be that much better.
