I have searched the forums and the software tutorial, maybe I don't know the term to search

Lights from a dock below left a redish illumination bottom right and near the flagpole, is there a way to remove it? I have cropped the photo as best I could to remove most of it, just can't figure how to eliminate it further.

All help appreciated.

thanks, Donny

If this is what you mean (see attached), here's how I did it.

1. use the Polygonal Lasso tool to select the area(s) where you want the Reds removed from. In your sample image, I selected the flag and then reversed it so that everything but the flag was selected.

2. Using either Enhance > Adjust color > Hue/Saturation... or Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation, select Red in he Edit: field of the Hue/Saturation window. Then turn down the Saturation slider until the red color disappears.

Thanks! I did as you described, not quite as good as I have a "lighter" area where the red was but still better!

Thanks for the tip.
