Taking a big camera to a airport must be risky............ oh wait I forgot thats a Canadian airport.

Serious....great shots. My Dad worked in Pearson. What lenses are you using?

The "cheap" 75-300 F4-5.6 III USM.

Nice shots.

I saw that olympic Airbus 340 last time I was there, it was at a good distance and I thought it might be an aeroflot plane. I can see now clearly what it is, thanks.

Would you be willing to give out your post processing recepie for getting such sharp pictures? Usually when I try to sharpen mine up it just dosent come out right, not nice and crisp like yours anyway!

Only thing I dont like on some of your shots is the color of the sky. Is that grey blue due to a polorizer? or just the Canadian sun?

Thanks for shareing, Keep up the good work!

Aeroflot does fly to Toronto, however they use the 767. Post processing wise, I just mess around with levels, USM is at 0.2, repeated 2-3 times until it becomes sharp (without jaggies). About the colour, it was just what it was like all day. I had never seen it like that before, but I liked it because it was something different for a change. At first I thought my post processing was throwing some colours off, however I had 4 friends along and they had the same results.

Cant wait to go back!

Oh, and for the British here ;)

British 747-400 going-around because of a missed approach (way too high and fast)
