Very nice exposure and action. I have no idea about that sport at all but it looks great. Why is the one girl carrying the ball and why isn't the one in the last wearing a helmet? Just curious really. The only real crit I'd offer is to watch those horizons. I am sure the field had some "lean" to it but it looks like you are a little off in all of these.

I really really like these Dess, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Namasste this is a very popuular sport in ireland it's the ladies version of hurling it's up to each individual if they want to wear helmets the ball can be kicked or carried with the hand but not for more than 4 steps while in the hand if you would like to see how it's played go to youtube and type in hurling and enjoy. By the way thank's for the tip

Super shots Dessie. Caught the action extremely well and cropped them nicely to see the expressions.
Wouldn't like to meet any of these girlies on a Saturday night though. They're tough looking characters. Last picture looks like a female version of David and Goliath.

Long time no see Red your team is blowing a bit hot and cold these days. When i was photographing these girls i was amazed with the commitment and how rough it really gets age gap is big some girls 16 and some are 30 + if you were married to one of these girls when they say jump you ask how high :)

Wow not another camogie match thread. These look good but as Scott mentioned the horizons are off a bit. Cool to see some knew stuff here.
