Some Studio practice

I just wanted you to look over some of my first "studio" shots. I used 2, 580ex's plus room light on my daughter Ashley. Room light from the left, a 580ex on the right and a 580 splashed on a black backdrop with different gels. I want to be able to do "quick" portable lighting for kids, corporate shots and some glamor. I used a clouds "fong" lightsphere for softbox type effect. I know I can turn up the power on the 580's up (and I will when using 3..) but I wanted a shallow depth of field. It looks different in a studio type shooting but I like practicing dof shooting.
Any feedback would be great
