I had seen a discussion here. I can't find it though. I am planning a new computer(i7 920 oc to 3+ asus p6td mobo 1 tb hard drive 6 gb ram) Win 7 64
I know when I reload ps it will default to 64 and I also know that the plugins won't work so I plan to also load a version in 32 bit space. anyone know the magic formula for doing so. It is pita as much of my work load is plugins.

Just go to program files (x86) instead of program files, and make a shortcut for photoshop to your desktop. If you have it open, then all files should open there instead of 64bit one. You can also change registry files to get 64bit to redirect to 32bit, but that's not as easy.

it should already be there, though not sure if it's always checked. Check the folder i (sort of) told you about first though, then you can get out the disks and reinstall if it's not there
