I have had PMs from users with a zero post count a couple of times. They were lurkers and noobs who wanted to know forum etiquette/details for a meet etc and singled me out as the person to ask before posting on the forum proper. Obviously I am wary of them but there are some innocent PMers out there.
That said, spammers are always the obvious first thought.
