We have been dogless for years. Kimi (named for F1 driver Kimi Raikonnen), a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel joined the family yesterday. I hope she'll calm down so I can get some decent shots of her. But I couldn't resist posting this snapshot, cuz she is just so darn cute!

She is cute! What is the temperament on those CKC Spaniels? They hyper dogs? Never had a chance to be around one.

Cavaliers are quite hyper as pups, but calm down a bit by about 18 months. Nothing like as hyper as a Springer or Collie though!

They have been bred to be companions for many, many years, and love to be involved with whatever you are doing - NOT a dog to be left all day whilst you are at work, they thrive on company.

From Weemannie's "her indoors" - we now have 3 Cavaliers, they're kind of addictive!

Cute doggy and great name. Now if it was a chihuahua you could name him Pablo after Pablo Montoya. :)
