Since there have been a lot of paintball photography posts here lately I though I should post some of my latest work. These are pictures from the recent USPL (United Stated Professional League) DC Challenge event that took place at Pev’s Paintball Park, Aldie, Virginia a few weeks ago.

This may sound like I am really dumb but I have really no idea were I was. I get sent to events all over the world that sometimes I really do not pay much attention to where I am. I frequently roll out of the red eye flight into a rental car and turn on the GPS and go where the lady in the “idiot box” tells me where to go. One time I was driving to an event in the back woods of Florida in the middle of a moonless night and the GPS broke….I had no idea where I was but that is another long story :confused::(

Yes that is the new place! Now that I can see an overall. It just opened this summer. I wonder if Pev's moved to the USPL. They used to run a team in the NPPL.

Actually the USPL is the NPPL. Pacific Paintball which purchased the USPL a few years ago went bankrupt and is now gone

Chuck Hendsh former president of the NPPL started the USPL this year to replace the NPPL and when the NPPL logo became available in the bankruptcy sale he purchased the rights to the name and logo so now they are the same

Yea the Impact Guys were a lot of fun and in the current issue of FaceFull there are my photos of team owner Bart Yachimec and an interesting interview of him..

Nope, I unfortunately can not make it to the Vegas event. I am doing a much bigger back to back. I am going to the Millennium/Palm Sarsilmaz Cup in Turkey that same weekend.

The FaceFull people offered me either the Las Vegas USPL or the Millennium Sarsilmaz Cup in Turkey so needless to say I choose Turkey. As a result they are sending a photographer from Paris to Las Vegas while I will be traveling from California to Turkey…go figure…:confused:

It’s a tough job and someone’s got to it….

oO. What happened if I may ask? That really sounds ridiculous.
For some unknown reason they are decided to ban Paintballphotography.com about 5 years ago and as a result it has been on the swear filter for almost five years. I have tried reaching out to owner Ed Riker personally on several occasions but the ban remains by their choice only.
Just ask anyone who meets me or any photographer I have helped, not to mention the professional paintball leagues I work for and promote and they will tell you how evil I am. I am sure POTN will be banning me soon too ….btw on the nation if you mention my name or web site you too will deemed evil and unworthy and be banned for life like me

All of this I find very amusing, if fact I have made a mockery of the ban on PbNation. By starting a whole line of Banned products, stickers and T-Shirts

I figured I might as well have some fun with all of this non sense, in fact the banned has produced some wonderful guerilla marketing for my site

If they ever un ban me then I will have a problem and I guess I will then have to do something really bad to get re-banned ….then I could be know as the re-banned photographer :lol:

btw Gary, I hadn't had the chance to tell you how Genius the "Banned" shirts stickers ect are. I've been around paintball the entire time of your ban, and have always laughed about it and how ridiculous it was. But when I saw the sticker w/************************.com on a hopper while shooting USPL, I was Laughing SOOOO LOUD! Genius.
