Hey all,

The charger for my 511 batteries for my 20D didn't make it back from a wedding a couple weeks ago. I've been on the lookout in the for-sale section but nothing pops up.

At local and online merchants I've seen the Canon CB-5L going for anywhere from $40-$70. This is a different charger from the one that came with my 20D (which looked more like a travel charger) but is the standard for the 511.

Long story short, it's looking like I'll be getting into a 7D in a couple months and don't necesarily want to drop too much on a replacement charger.

Any good options out there?

Thanks,

-Fernando

Sterlingtek has 'em for around $11/$12 and they're AC and auto compatible.

Thanks Jon,

I have used the Sterlingtek batteries before, 2 are great, one bites. so I have a little bit of hesitation.

I'll look into the piece. Anyone have any other options?

Thanks,

-Fernando

I had the Sterlingtek one and it worked great. It also comes with a cord to plug into your car's 12v socket. Saved my tail one time.

I have 2 of these; one at home and the other in my truck for charging batteries. When I bought mine; no batteries were offered :(
