I know they're two very different cameras, but which is the better one?
I'm thinking of getting the SX120 or SX20 once I make up my mind, but since those are quite new, I don't think a lot of people have those yet.

I mostly shoot low light pictures, and I go to quite a few concerts. Of course, the SX120 would be better size-wise, but I would rather go for image quality than size.
The zoom doesn't matter to me, 10x is good enough or me.

I just want to know which one has less noise at a higher ISO, or just has better quality in general.

Thank you :)

choose any cameras in the drop-down menu's and compare low-level lighting, etc...

Thanks, that helped a lot, and I just ordered an SX20 today.

I don't mean to incite buyer's remorse - but you mentioned that low light image quality is most important to you - yet the SX20 does poorly in that department vs the SX10 and SX110 for example. I hope it works adequately for you.

None of the three cameras mentioned are great in low light, but I bet you will find the SX20 to be as good as the rest, in spite of a couple of reviews saying it's not.

Same here, but I figure you would've went with the SX10is instead considering the HD video wasn't a feature you were looking for. I'm sure the SX20is will work fine for your purpose.
