Is anyone else going to be shooting at the Macy's Passport fashion show? This is going to be my first one and I want to get perfect shots! I'm planning to bring my 5D, a 580EX II, and I'll be borrowing a friend's 70-200mm 2.8 IS. I've done a few fashion shows, but I am unfamiliar with the conditions they'll have at this really big one... I'm starting to get used to shooting in servo AF at decent shutter speeds above 1/125th second now that I have a better body. When I shot with rebels I shot with one shot mode and rapidly half pressed until the model stopped and then took the shot which amazingly worked better than servo, heh. Should I be using center point AF when in servo? I use outer points when shooting still subjects but does it matter with moving subjects? I've tried it, but not quite sure and would rather take it from someone more seasoned than I. Thanks!
