Gillian and Stephen are getting married later this month so we took the opportunity today to vist a few places they want to have photographs taken.

On the road between Bangor and Betws-y-Coed there are many areas of outstanding natural beauty. Mostly covered in low cloud today but it`s there.

Gillian and Stephen love this area and go walking and climbing all the time. We explored a little and took some cool portaits of them.

If the weather is like this for their wedding day then their photos will be AMAZING!!!

All shots used OCF is one way or another. All bare flash.

1 I saw this rock and though it would look amazing with her on it in her wedding dress and the valley stretching away up to Trefan mountain in the distance. The flash was set up 10ft high and about 25ft away from them on camera right on a wooden bridge. zoomed all the way out to highlight just them. ;)

3 I used the flash to light the stone behind them.

a bit harsh, try using a diffuser. nice captures nonetheless!

nice shots, not too keen on #1 and #2, it could be any couple from that distance. very nice pp work.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I was using bare off camera flash so it would be a bit harsher to match the rugged outdoor rocky background.

Lovely! The photos bring back memories of my first trip to the UK. We rolled by Colwyn Bay via train, and visited Betws-y-Coed for a couple days as well. Sigh. :)

the couple's pose seems a bit off in #3. maybe it's just me.

The first two are a bit far and the lady in the third photo looks very mad. just my two cents

Overall - good pictures.

#3 thought the lady's expression does not fit in.
