Out of hundreds similar sites what makes *this* one so special?

Care to share details about available storage and bandwidth?

Claiming unlimited space and bandwidth is pure ***beeep*** ! Even sites like pbase does not provide You with unlimited space even when You pay for it.

Nothing is free. It may not cost money but there will be costs involved.

Ohh, and several links like about, contact and terms of use does not work.

Its kind of amateurish to launch a site that is not completed.

I can assure you will be around for a very long time, and will not start charging. the site will keep adding server farming as needed when it grows.

We also allow up to 2MB/upload (usually more than 2MB browser would time out)

EV1Servers is a premier dedicated server provider, with their sponsorship support we will be here and WILL NEVERE start charging.

This service is still work in progress, but again, we wont go under.

Suuuure I believe You... Nooot.

What makes this site so special that You think it will be a success? Think about what You are up against: Pbase, fotopic, photosig, smugmug just to name a few (not all free), add to that personal free websites.

Convince me:

- why should I put my photos on this site instead of on my own site or pbase?

it's for those who doesnt have their own site, and it's convinient. one thing special about photoxc is the backend gallery, it has a server farming ability to cluster more server and node them.

give it a shot tommy, i guarentee you, for the next 6 years and beyond it will still be up and free :) how about i bet my 20D on it :)

dont take my word for it, try it yourself and dont always pass judgement that quick :) and believe me, ev1servers have been in hosting biz for long time, having them as sponsor really give a very positive outlook of this project.

btw photography-on-the.net is always on EV1Server :) so we are on same block :p

i never believe in subscription services, and again this is not a commercial vernture. i'm doing this out of hobby as i started to like photography.

for the next 6 years, i can guarentee we will be with ev1 still, if they ever change their mind i'll be looking for more options and making sure it wont go into subscriptions type even i have to put up money from my own pocket.

Nice bump! Very entertaining and hopefully able to teach some a lesson about how volatile a place the net can be.
