Hello, i'd like to make myself available to anybody in the southern cali vicinity who's in need of an assistant.
I have a background in cinematography. I have years of experience working on indies as both a director of photography and 1st assistant camera, and i'm looking to expand and/or migrate to any facet of the picture taking industry. I think my understanding of professional set etiquette would transfer with a fairly low learning curve...
I'm willing to work a few gigs for low/no pay in exchange for an oppurunity to prove myself. For what its worth i own a 5d mark II + 24-70 2.8 which may or may not magically transform into a 5d (classic) and 7d in the coming weeks.
