Do you have a printed family album?

Greetings.

I am just an amateur photographer. I don't make my living with this.
I am wondering if you have some sort of printed "family or personal album". I don't mean a personal portafolio to show the quality of your work.

I used to have one when I used film, printed and slides. Since I switched to digital I mostly keep my personal album in my hard disk and I stopped using my old album.

Any suggestions on technology and procedures to do this?
Good amateur printers? (affordables)
Should I go 4 x 6 only as I did with my film album?
