Okay okay, nothing out of the ordinary, but HEY! you clicked on it and now you're here! The sunny weather provided a bit of hard light, but overall, it was a great source to shoot these recent pictures of a barbecue lunch that I attended with some friends... We also played some softball, and had ANOTHER BBQ at a house for dinner. Good times!

10. This picture explains SO much... foosball is THE favorite of all time sports for this crew, and they play for HOURS and HOURS. So drinking a bit of booze can make you an all-star foosball player!

Final score? I believe it was 17-11.

Looks like a lot of fun. I really like the shot of the Yorkie.

I was wondering about the shirt on the guy at the far left in the group shots. I've been seeing a lot of "Vote for Pedro" t-shirts lately. What the heck does that mean?

"Vote for Pedro", its from Napoleon Dynamite. Its a HOOT of a movie, if you like that sort of movie. But really, its worth a try. You may like it. :)

PhotoJoe, love the pictures. What fun you guys had! I am starving. :)

Nice photos Joe, Looks like you guys know how to have FUN. (LOVED the Group shot)
The obligatory photo of the guy holding a bottle of booze right under the sign that said Fireworks and Alcohol prohibited was kind of funny. :lol:

Hmmmm......not sure where that park is, though I don't know my way around Torrance much. I know Long Beach and down!

i'm suprized you took pictures. when we had a BBQ a couple of weeks ago, we had about 10 photographers and the only cameras anyone broke out were camera phones. lol nice pictures.

Haha, it's funny how photog's don't bring cameras out to their own events... Kinda how you'll always find a leak in a plumber's bathroom, right?

I had my camera because I wanted to shoot some pics of my buddy's car that evening as well, so I thought, "hey I have my camera, my cards, so why not just shoot the bbq and game?"

Everyone LOVED these pics! haha

You bastard! It's not fair to exploit my 'yellow fever' like that! ;)

By the way, I see you do a lot of import car photography. My buddy has a fixed up Dodge (not import) Magnum that he wants me to take pictures of. Any good tips? I love the low angle shots I see a lot of.
