Starting to enjoy photography, Rebel XT is such great camera. This is my first attempt with manual settings. Lense is a 75-300 1:4-5.6 shot in the early morning.

Took 150 pictures,, moving around discovering how the light effected the shadows, aswell as the settings. So much to learn, This is uncropped, just downsized to make it web friendly

I think the lighting, exposure, and subject are nice. I'd suggest doing something with the composition. Right now it's just a wagon smack dab in the middle of the photo which makes it sort of static and boring.

Very true. If the wagon was smaller in the pictre, or even not completely in it, it would have alot more of a sense of purpose, or adandonment even. Perhaps if the photo had more of the land, it would have a greater sense of history to it.

Hey Man Nice Shot, wonder how it would look with a polarizer pulling the blue sky into the picture or in a black and white

Try taking it over to a B&W image - I think you will like it.
