digital rebel error code - help?

a friend has a digital rebel (first gen) and got an error code: cbc

all images shot were fine, happened w/ different lenses and different cf cards - a quick google search yielded nothing - ideas?

You mean it was lens specific? Was the error sporadic or reproducible every time your friend uses the lens? If u can give us more information about the lens and the CF in question, maybe we can help.

error was not lens nor memory card specific.

lenses used were 50mm f/1.4, 24-70L and 70-200 f/2.8 non IS

cards used were promaster and lexar 512 and 1gig cards
