Best way to make it look good and get the size down is to do one or more of the following:

1. resize it to a smaller size, but otherwise keep setting at 72PPI if you have that discriminator, max size should be 1024x something, 800x something is usually good enough. If you need to show higher detail then do a 100% crop of a smaller area. Then set compression setting to get to desired level.

2. Not so good, but sometimes it works is to drop the color bit depth from 16.7million to 64k or 256 colors.

3. Lastly is try saving it using a different program as some softwares are better at jpeg compression then others.

Depending on level of detail in the scene sometimes there is no hope for it, but go with a higher compression setting.

Just my experience and opinion,

Lighting - to get rid of shadows and bring out your model (who is quite attractive). You will need some light on both sides of her. It looks like she might be too close to the background too. I think the black suit on grey background will also present problems with separation from background (I know because I just shot over 100 pictures battling with the same thing, black suits/shoes on a dark floor covering).
