I was coming back late from the wings and wheels event when I saw this.
I shot this hand held with my 300 F/4 L at 1/50 sec, F/4, ISO 3200. For some reason when I resize I loose all of the EXIF data so I grab a screan shot. I was impress on how well this truned out.
This is how it came out of the camera.... no adjustsments at all

Nice catch. Resizing does not flush the EXIF, that happens in PhotoShop when you use Save for Web instead of using Save As.
I don't understand how some people can shoot ISO 3200 and get such good shots with no PP. Never works for me that way. :)

Ahh good to know, and that's how I've been resizing them :)
That was the first time I've shot my 50D at 3200. Most of the time its between 100-400. I figured it should look ok. I had a Rebel XT and shot it at 1600 it they looked ok.

There is no real benefit to flushing the EXIF data from a file, it only adds less than 1K to the overall file. :)
My present 1D MkIIN does good up to 800, but after that, the noise is unacceptable for anything beyond just an archive file. My previous cameras, the 40D and 30D just could not deliver without a lot of NR, which is just as bad. :)

Looks great for ISO 3200 and the lighting lends a nice industrial look to the shot.

Pretty nice capture in low light conditions. Good job.

I agree; the lighting really gives this shot a lot of quality
