How big is the average wedding album in terms of photos and pages?

All of our standard wedding albums are 10x10 or 12x12. For parent albums we offer 6x6 with the option to upgrade to 8x8. Keeping them square format allows us to reuse the design from the wedding album in the parent albums. We also do several guest books, which are roughly 8x11.

Album companies offer so many different sizes that it would be overwhelming to offer them all to a client. Find a size that best fits your design style, get a couple samples, and show them to your clients. They will typically love what they see and will buy whatever sizes you show them.

In the off chance they inquire about a different size, you can then discuss additional options and give them a personalized quote. Sometimes clients want something out of the ordinary.

I am currently working on an 8x8 but have made 8x10 in the past.

14x10 and 18x12, minimum 20 pages, average 30-34 pages, big is 50 pages. I average 2-3 images per page, but that includes some images taking two pages and a couple of pages sometimes having 16 images.

Sorry, guess I should read the whole question next time. :-)

The number of pages for our main wedding album ranges from 30 to 48, depending on the package and upgrade options selected.

For us, we average 2 images per page, so a 30-page album is roughly 60 images. It varies widely from page to page though, as sometimes you might fit 8-12 details images on a spread (2-pages) or you might have just one image on a spread.

Some photographers limit the number of images in an album and if you want more, you have to pay for it. We just sell additional spreads.

My standard is 10 page (20 sides) 8x10 album with about 30-35 images.
