It was my first wedding with a dslr woohoo. The couple are real good friends of gf and I and I wanted to capture some of those special moments for them as well. The hired photogs (5byseven) did a great job, stobist enthused, between the 3 of them with all 5D2's, Coke Bottle, Brick, Keg, 70-200, sig 12-24, RL, BD, 4 580EXII + PWs.
So here are the shots I took without getting in the way of them. Didn't take much time on the PP, just messed with them a little in LR2.

Is the tilted horizon intentional? I especially notice the tilt on #s 3&4.

That cake looks gooooooooooooooood.

I think you did great. WB is a little difficult with the dark skin coloring and the color of the dresses. Oh, I don't envy those wedding pros. But the setting is lovely and you did great. PP is a little much for vignetting, but other than that, you should be happy.

Thanks for all the comments. The couple is spending their honeymoon in HI and they saw the pics and were very pleased, I got so many messages about getting copies and I am happy to provide, since I didn't get them a gift yet.

Why ?....(just curious)....I thought it was wrong at first as I missed the
'artsy' element to it I guess ;)
Nice pictures though....I'd like to get my feet wet at wedding photography
as an 'extra shooter' as well some day.
