Me and my girlfriend went up for a friend's wedding and decided to go take some pictures, it'd be a bit of a change from sport and music!

Apologies for the watermark, just on there to stop wedding guests stealing the photos! lol

Very new to this, so all comments and advice welcome!

Great pictures, the quality of the shots is wonderful. You do have some odd crops in there though, the tops of several heads, limbs lopped off etc.

On the plus side, it looks like a very British wedding :D

Some very nice shots here!
I like #1 as she's being helped out of the car, assuming by her father, and really liked the last one of the white roses against their red dresses. Very elegant! The rest are all good as well!

My first glimpse into an English wedding other than the 'royals' I see on tv from time to time!

Thanks for that.

Limited lens-wise, only had a 70-200 (Girlfriend had the 17-40), so was shooting tightly, although personally I'm fond of tight crops, whatever floats your boat I guess!

Incidentally, what makes the wedding so British? Didn't think there was much difference between the US and UK.

You got to "run what you brung" and you did a fine job with it too.

I really love all of them. 1,2, and 4 have some harsh shadows that take away from them.

Yea, lighting wasn't ideal and my 580 was playing silly buggers all day! lol
