So, I know the ideal afternoon\evening time for pictures, but what is the ideal MORNING time?

I have a couple who wants to do an after-wedding shoot, and they want to do it at the beach. They have to do it in the morning, because they leave for their honeymoon in the afternoon.

Since it will be on the beach, it would probably be cloudy until 10-11am, so it may not matter.

Any suggestions\comments\concerns???

If it's going to be sunny, you've got about an hour of nice light (starting when the sun rises). After that initial hour, you can still keep working (obviously) but you'll need to work harder to avoid unflattering shadows.

The exact opposite of the evening. Start looking at sun calendars.
