Cyprus Rally 2005 (WRC) - SS1/SS4

I could visit only one Special Stage of this year's Cyprus Rally (a part of World Rally Championship), so I tried to make as much of it as I could.

Nice picture. I love rallys! I spent 4 hours in Cyprus but never got to see the outside of my plane.

Having trouble imagining how the driver can navigate with four inches of dirt on the windshield.

I lived in Limassol for about a year in the late 70's. Many fond memories. Lot's of unusual people. The ex-pat crowd, the UN folks, the cloak and dagger set, various characters "passing through" on their way to and from Beruit.

Having trouble imagining how the driver can navigate with four inches of dirt on the windshield.

It took him about 3 seconds to clear it all off. :) But even if he couldn't see at all, he'd still be able to finish properly because of the co-driver efforts. I've seen it before. :)
