A commercial real estate shot I'm doing for a client. Would welcome any comments and criticisms.

So when they say "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" they must be right. Over 30 views and not a comment. I guess it takes too long to write "it's complete crap". :)

I'd say it's too nice for a commercial real estate shot.

Look slightly HDR or at least tone mapped here. Almost like an artist's rendering. I'm not sure if that is the look you sought, but if so, I say "Spot on!" Nice capture. I'm reasonably sure that the client will be very happy.

Thanks.
No HDR. It is a composite though. Sky and building shot at different times of day as well as foreground asphalt. Reflections in windows are all added. Removed a lot of junk: signs, light posts, spigots and other stuff.

looks pretty nice man. i am not really a fan of supersaturated colors, but other people seem to be liking them, so good job!

The colors look dramatic, but I love it!

It's a cool shot but maybe a little over the top for a real estate listing. Nice dramatic sky but the whole thing looks a little more like a render than a photo. I think because the lighting looks unrealistic.

yup complete crap:-) JK
after staring at it for awhile, yes it is too good for the junk mail it will be inserted into.
If the composition were to be changed I would move just to the right of the crosswalk you are standing next to and closer/lower to the building for the following reasons. Lose the "dumpster" behind the building, show off more of the sidewalk/available parking and since it is a taller building going lower would make it appear "larger than life". I don't think as a piece of art that any of this would improve the composition but for improving the view for trying to sell the place it might.

Sorry, I don't know why I stated that this was real estate. It's a shot for the builder and owner to use for marketing and promotional purposes. Does that change people's opinion of it?
Perhaps the saturation could be reduced some.
As for the dumpster that's funny. It is a dumpter wall but when I look at it I don't think dumpter. I would like to get rid of it but don't know how I will do it yet.

Looks good. Colors are a little over the top, but that sort of thing often translates pretty nicely for the type of marketing/promotional piece you are talking about. Looks SLIGHTLY darker overall--a touch of added lightness in curves might help, but it might be my monitor. The lower floor windows are also pretty dark. None of these are exactly complaints, though, as the photo works nicely as is.

if i'm a consumer, I wouldn't like it as it look like a made up place. but in an artistic view its ok.

The colors, clarity, light are all terrific, very vibrant. The clouds bother me though. The round building makes it look like smoke coming out of the top.

Hah, hadn't thought of that. It's not on fire.

Can a real estate broker and a lawyer start a real estate company together? My fiance is considering becoming licensed to sell real estate. I am a first year law student. I have learned a little about real estate transactions and how they work. I understand the roles of both the broker and the attorney, but I'm wondering if my husband-to-be and I will be able to use our skills together to start our own business. Will I have to have a separate practice, or can the real estate lawyer be a part of the broker's company?

You do realize this is a photography site right?

lol@ last comment.
What I noticed in the photo was that the reflections in the window don't match up, and they don't match what the sky looks like either. Or is it just me?
The colors are nice, but I think it's over the top.... for anything.

You're right, they don't match up but that wall is curved. Each window is pointing to a different part of the sky. However, the relections in all of the windows are fake. They are seperate pictures underneath the main picture.
