Hi all,
I am a new member here.
I find that when I view images posted on this forum they don't always seem all that sharp.
For example, this photo of mine, looks slightly blurry to me, yet if you click on the following link to view it on Flickr, to me it DEFINITELY is sharper, even though it is the same link!
Are my eyes broken?

This sometimes happens to me when I post pics here too..
The trick I've found is don't keep reszing until the image meets size requirements, resize only once and sharpen last.. Also watch the Jpeg compression,, if you compress too much you will also lose sharpness..

As with the above posters, it looks the same to me.
Could it be your monitor? Viewing just the image places it in the top left corner while viewing it in the forum moves it to the right. Maybe your monitor is not as sharp (or just has a big smudge) in one area? Just throwing out ideas.

The linked shot looks a tiny bit shinier than the posted one is all I can see .

Might be the background color is playing with your eyes/mind ? I always read that color photos should be displayed on a full black surface .

if anything they should be sharper compared on your original vs the flickr.
flickr does compress slightly when uploaded to their system. however your link and embedded look exactly the same.
