Almost hit a Turtle on my way home from work.

So I turned around and picked him up. Before the treehuggers start tearing me up, the turtle was in the middle of town and I live in the boonies so I did him a favor. The main reason I stopped was to help my Karma, I hit one by mistake last week. :o

Figured why miss out on the opportunity so I bugged him for a little while with the snapping of my shutter.

This one was just for fun but wound up being my favorite. Dont exactly know why.

A little web searching it is a Texas Diamondback Terapin. (he must be lost cause he was found in louisiana) Some really interesting info available about them.

Terapins are not that common, thanks for saving him. It's sad when a turtle gets hit by a car. Nice pics too.

Although there's more detail in the others I like the first one best, it looks to me like he's/she's in the huff and refusing to play with you anymore.
