Nice clear image, personally prefer the first. Although the second gives a nice feel of movement, it just doesn't work with the static look of the wheels.

Yea. I feel the same way. #2 was whipped up for my graphics class. Figured I would toss it in.

How about applying a radial blur filter to the wheels? I prefer the 2nd version as I feel its got less background distraction with no colour.

I like the original. I'm a fan of vignetting on shots like these to subdue the backgroung, but that's a matter of personal taste.
