Just a few tips : about the cover, you are mixing various fonts, that's not a good idea, keep to one font with multiple sizes, italic and bold, but don't use different fonts together.

The engine shot is nice, dark and intriguing, but do think about using lighter color on the text, sure it looks nice on screen, albeit a bit difficult to read if you have a bad laptop screen for instance, but imagine printing that one ... won't work well.

On what kind of publishing interval are you working for the e-zine ? Would love to see the issue actually.

too dark for me. The text also sounds like it was copied out of C&D or R&T.

I wouldn't use any font that makes i, l, & j look the same?
I like the teaser idea for the cover, but would use a lighter font. Good luck with the magazine.

THe engine shot is very dark and a little too close I think it works for it's intended purpose. Are you using a color managed browser? Be aware that what you're seeing here is probably not what some of the rest of us are seeing?

i think the silver AMG logo should stand out more. It's washed out in the blackness, the peeled out engine stickers don't look very appealing, I would go for a head on shot. The stock car pictures are of different models of MB, as the article reader I am confused. Also the font is difficult to read to disseminate all the technical data you presented.

Well I guess you have to know a bit about the history of the car to understand why the cars are different :)

C43 and c55 amg are different

The black car in the bottom picture is the c43 and the C55 is born when you take the engine out of the silver car(E55 amg) and put it into the c43

All of that will be explained in the text when I redo it

Engine and some of the text in the second edit just a tad too dark for me.
