Went up to Georgia over the Labor Day holiday to visit my folks. Got to spend a little time doing some flying with my dad in his GlaStar. He built this plane from scratch, I helped here and there, but mostly he did it himself. Great little airplane! This is a shot of he and my wife taxing back after a little trip around Atlanta.

Good shot of it. How long did it take to build?

It took him just shy of 3 years. He was still working at the time as a pilot for American Airlines so he'd get to work on it for a stretch of days and then not. He's retired now and loving every minute in the air with this thing.
