Not another new announcement?

Looks like a new 1D will be out shortly. Is this normal for Canon to put out so many new products in a short time frame?

Looks like a new 1D will be out shortly.

I don't really see this as compelling evidence. Likely the owner of this site just sees this as an opportunity for more traffic and trying to get indexed by Google early.

By out I meant announced by Canon on 10/1, just as the 7D was announced on 9/1 but will not be in stores until sometime in October. If it is announced at least all the speculation can be put to rest. if it is not announced then this can be put to rest like so many other rumors.

B&H is not showing it on their site same with amazon.

If you stagger product launches a month apart you get big headlines in all the magazines for a three month period.

Last month saw the compacts get the headlines - G11 etc.,

This month will see the 7D and new lenses get the headlines
